D A Pipeline Struggle Continues

December 5, 2016

It ain’t over ‘til the redhead sings a new tune. Lucks o’ luck with that. Word from friend B is that the Dakota Access company (in which Trump is invested) will ignore/fight the Obama order to find an alternative route.

He reports, too, that presently, outdoors, one can’t see past one’s nose, for snow.  Roads are drifted closed.

This page will continue the update of this episode, from the bottom of the previous page.

Here’s another, nearby, Native American experience and point of view on the local oil/gas industry and pipelines.

12-6:  B reports that the storm has demolished many of the camp structures.  Protesters are being sheltered at community center and casino instead.  Word from another friend, frostbite on cheeks.  Volunteers from outside ND have been asked to leave, since nothing more is likely to happen for a while.

Current state of the pipeline situation.

Stand with the Standing Rock Sioux.
