Allswell: Immigration

“That’s not a problem here,” as the mayor put it (he’s a Pence supporter, btw). “Immigration is welcomed, and even celebrated, if the newcomers are Allswell kind of people. And if they’re not, why would they want to live here anyway? They’d just be unhappy.”

Otherwise, there isn’t a law, but there is an old saying: “. . . before sundown.” Somehow it works.

Of course, there are migrant labor camps in the vicinity, but they are well hidden, off the main roads and into the bushes.
