A Realistic Source of Hope…

September 14, 2015

Against Racism.  I’ll tell you what, the Report just issued by the St. Louis Commission that investigated the police violence in Ferguson is an excellent diagnosis of the concrete problem of racism, what can be done to combat racism, and how to go about getting it done.  The report is well-informed, realistic, specific, and, as it says, “unflinching.”

Here’s the report as digitally issued (and they explain why that’s important).

Here’s the pdf.

(And thanks to Shaun King at Daily Kos.)

This is what can be produced by a healthy and brave imagination.

This is soul food—or at least it sets the table and offers the menu.

Update:  I knew there had to be an alternative; how’s about this one?
