A Healthy Way to Die

August 15, 2015

We should all be so lucky; and I just want to call attention, at this moment in our narrative, to this article/idea, in connection with our thinking about meditation, democracy, corporate mentality, and such.  I’ll think aloud more about it on one of the pages about mindfulness.

This brings to my mind Hillman’s sense of “psycho-therapy” as attending to, nourishing, the soul.  As Heracleitus put it, “no cure for the soul;” but the soul, as it faces going through one of its most immense changes, can be cared for.  And that starts me thinking out loud about the relationship between the soul, its pathologies, and mindfulness (with implications for our democracy), about which, more, anon.
